Contra – Shattered Soldier is a game run and gun genre and is part of the Contra series developed by KCET, the game was first released by Konami on October 22, 2002. The game has a fictional story taken Set in 2642, Earth is now trying to recover from the war of aliens, the hero Bill Rizer is responsible for the whole planet’s weapons network to crash and cause 80 % of the population died including his partner, Lance Bean, his sentence was a thousand years of cryogenic prison. Three years after Bill received his punishment, a dangerous terrorist organization called “Blood Falcon” was plotting to threaten the Earth, at which time the government had to free Bill Rizer and ask for his help. Supporting him is a cyborg named Lucia. After the battle Bill discovers Lance is alive and he is the commander of the Blood Falcon. Familiar gameplay of the series remains the same, but now the graphics are a mix of 2D and 3D. With many heavy weapons, each has different abilities and damage, but you can only carry a maximum of three types of guns.
