Flick Home Run is a fun, simple iPhone game that allows you to do one thing and one thing only, and that is to test your might as a home run hitter, trying to hit home runs as far as they can go, and see how many bonus points you can accumulate in the process with such things as hitting cars, popping balloons or collecting stars. You get all different types of pitches thrown at you, from fastballs to sinkers to slow curveballs to “ninja balls” which appear as three different balls, with only one being the correct one to hit. Your swipe should be different depending on the kind of pitch you face. Fastballs are tougher to hit squarely with a fast swipe, but with a slower swipe, you can still hit fairly long home runs and score high point totals. A pitch with an arc should be hit in exactly the opposite direction that the pitch is going. Slow pitches should be hit with faster swipes. Straight pitches should be hit with a slightly upward sideways swipe – these ones tend to fly for the longest amount of time when you hit them just right.
You can toggle between these modes at any time. The repopulation initiative. Action Mode allows players to control the game in ways similar to a First Person Shooter.
