Here’s a brief explanation of the necessary conditions(permissions) that users need to agree on in order to continue/finish the app installation.
1. “In-app Purchases” is needed when users try to buy charged in-game items.
2. “Device & app history” is needed for users to receive push notifications.
3. “Identity” is needed for linking Google Cloud Messaging with push messages. (Necessary for all versions older than Android OS 4.0) This permission is not inquired on versions newer than Android OS 5.0.
4. “Photos/Media/Files” is needed to download additional game contents that are upgraded with patches.
5. “Wi-fi connection information” is needed to download additional game contents that are upgraded with patches.
6. “Device ID & call information” is needed for device security (prevents hacking, rooting). Device ID provides a new form of encryption. We do NOT collect any call information.
